The 1000 foot extension of runway 15/33 is complete. There is now also 300 foot safety areas that have been added to the end of Runway 33 and the end of Runway 6. Both runways are now the same distance at 4350 feet. This will help balance the use of runways and therefore balance the noise to the surrounding communities.
